Application Deadline: January 6, 2012

Applications and all related material must arrive in our office by January 6, 2012 in order to be considered.

Judging
A panel of distinguished judges will review applications and select finalists by March. These finalists will be invited to participate in a two-day interview process at the Houston Chronicle in April.

First Rotation
Starting in September, Fellows will begin their first rotation at assigned newspapers. Fellows will have two 9-month rotations during their tenure in the program.

Graduation
Hearst Fellowship is an 18-month program that consists of two 9-month rotations. Fellows graduate following their second 9-month rotation.
